The brief
A blank slate. A category. An audience that can smell inauthenticity from a mile away.
Edge was a Canadian extreme sports streaming platform covering skateboarding, snowboarding, free running, and action sports across the board. There was no existing brand, no existing site — just a category and an audience to design for. I built it from scratch: logo, full site UI, every content pattern, every page state. The design had to feel at home in the world of action sports without defaulting to the tired visual clichés the category leans on. Edge needed to feel premium and fast without losing the energy of the sport itself.
