How much does a website cost?
The managed site is $299/month with no upfront build fee — that’s the only number on this page. Project builds and e-commerce are scoped per engagement. No two projects are identical, so no number here would be accurate. The first conversation is where we look at what you need and put a real number on it.
What’s the difference between the project build and the managed site?
The site quality is the same. The difference is ownership and what happens after launch. A project build is yours outright — you own it, host it, and manage it. The managed site lives on Lula’s infrastructure and we handle everything ongoing for a flat monthly fee.
What happens if I want to leave the managed plan?
The managed plan has a 12-month minimum term. After that it runs month to month and you can cancel any time with 30 days notice. If you need to exit before the term is up, there is a cancellation fee outlined in the client agreement. Either way, we help you transition to your own hosting cleanly. We never leave you without a functioning site or a clear path forward.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most projects run four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and how quickly feedback rounds move. Timelines are set at the start of every project so you know what to expect going in.
Do I need a brand identity before you build my site?
Ideally yes — a site built without a clear brand is just pages. If you already have a brand that’s strong and consistent, we build from that. If you don’t, we can develop one as part of the engagement. The first conversation will tell us both where you stand.
Does the site include SEO?
Every site includes on-page SEO fundamentals — proper heading structure, meta titles and descriptions, image alt text, page speed considerations, and sitemap submission. Ongoing SEO content strategy is a separate conversation, but the technical foundation is always there from day one.
