Brand Audit& Refresh

Sometimes the brand isn’t broken — it just hasn’t kept up. An audit finds where it’s drifting. A refresh pulls it back into shape.

What’s included

A clear look at where your brand stands — and what to do about it.

Most businesses don’t need to start over. They need someone to look at what they’ve built and tell them honestly what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s missing. That’s what a brand audit does.

If the audit reveals gaps that need closing, the refresh work follows directly from what we find — no guessing, no unnecessary changes.

Visual Identity Review
A full assessment of your logo, colour, typography, and how they hold together — or don’t.
Touchpoint Consistency Audit
Every place your brand shows up — print, digital, social, signage — reviewed against each other. Inconsistency costs you more than you think.
Written Findings Report
Honest, specific findings with prioritized recommendations. Not a list of vague suggestions — an actual plan you can act on.
Refresh Work
Logo refinements, palette adjustments, updated type — whatever the audit surfaces. Scope defined by what the work actually requires.
Updated Brand Guidelines
Revised documentation reflecting every change made. So the next person who touches your brand knows exactly what they’re working with.

Who this is for

Businesses that have grown past their brand.

You’ve been operating for a few years. Things have changed — the business has evolved, the market has shifted, maybe the team has grown. But the brand is still the one you launched with, or worse, the one someone threw together quickly because you needed something at the time.

You don’t necessarily need to start from scratch. But something is off and you can feel it — even if you can’t name it yet. That’s exactly what this is for.

How it works

It starts with a conversation about where you are and where the friction is. From there, the audit covers every place your brand shows up — systematically, not impressionistically.

The findings report is delivered in plain language. You’ll know exactly what’s strong, what’s weak, and what needs to change — ranked by priority so you’re not trying to fix everything at once. Refresh work is scoped from the findings. You only address what the audit actually surfaces.

Common questions

What people usually ask.

What is a brand audit?
A brand audit is a structured review of your existing brand — how it looks, how it sounds, and how it’s being used across your business. It identifies what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s missing. At Lula Creative, a brand audit is always the first step before any refresh work begins.
How do I know if I need a brand refresh or a completely new brand?
If your core business is still the same but your visual identity has fallen behind, a refresh is usually the right move. If your business has fundamentally changed — new market, new audience, new direction — a full rebrand makes more sense. The audit tells us which one you actually need.
How much does a brand refresh cost?
A brand audit and refresh is typically less involved than a full identity build, and is priced accordingly. Most refresh projects fall in the $1,500–$4,000 range depending on scope. We’ll know more after the initial conversation.
Will a brand refresh affect my existing customers?
Done well, a refresh feels like a natural evolution — your existing customers recognize you, but you look sharper and more current. The goal is never to confuse the people who already trust you.
How long does a brand refresh take?
Most brand audit and refresh projects take two to four weeks, depending on how much needs to change and how quickly feedback moves. It’s a faster process than a full identity build because we’re working with an existing foundation.
Can you refresh just part of my brand?
Yes. Sometimes the logo is fine and the problem is the colour palette. Sometimes the typography is the issue. We scope the work to what actually needs fixing — not what would be easiest to bill for.
