Web Design

End-to-end web design for businesses that are ready to look like what they’ve become.

What’s included

A complete site — designed, built, and ready to work.

Most web projects go wrong before a single page is designed. The platform gets chosen before the brand is understood. The layout gets built before the content exists. You end up with a site that looks fine but doesn’t feel like you — because it wasn’t built from you.

Lula builds sites from the brand outward. Every layout decision, every type choice, every colour call traces back to who you are and what you’re trying to do. The result is a site that holds together — because it was designed to.

Strategy & Structure
Page architecture, user flow, and content hierarchy — mapped before anything is designed. Structure drives everything that follows.
Visual Design
Full page designs grounded in your brand identity. Typography, colour, layout, spacing — every detail considered and intentional.
Build & Development
Clean, fast, maintainable. Scoped to what the project actually requires — from a sharp brochure site to a fully custom build.
Content Integration
Copy guidance, image specifications, and hands-on help getting your content into the site correctly. Not just a handoff with instructions.
Launch & Handover
A site you actually know how to use. We don’t disappear at launch — we make sure you’re set up to manage it going forward.

Who this is for

Businesses that need a site worth sending people to.

You’re past the point where a template with your logo swapped in is good enough. Your current site is either embarrassing you or just not doing anything — and you know it every time you hand someone a business card.

This works best when paired with a brand identity engagement — or when you already have a brand that’s strong enough to build from. If you’re not sure where you sit, the first conversation will tell us both.

How it works

Every project starts with a scoping conversation. We look at what you have, what you need, and what the site has to actually do — not just look like. Scope and timeline are set from there.

Design happens in stages with real checkpoints. You’ll see work at key moments and have genuine input into the direction — not just approval or rejection at the end. Every project moves at the pace the work requires.

Common questions

What people usually ask.

How much does a website cost in Edmonton?
Web design projects at Lula Creative are scoped to what your business actually needs. A professional brochure site typically starts in the $3,000–$6,000 range. Larger or more complex projects are quoted based on scope. Every project starts with a free conversation before any numbers are discussed.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most web design projects take four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and how quickly feedback rounds move. Timelines are set at the start of the project so you know what to expect.
Do I need a brand identity before you build my website?
Ideally yes — a website built without a clear brand is just pages. If you don’t have a solid brand foundation, we can develop one as part of the project. If you already have a brand that’s strong and consistent, we build from that.
What platform do you build on?
The platform is chosen based on what the project requires. WordPress is the most common choice for small business sites — it’s flexible, widely supported, and easy to manage once the site is handed over. Other platforms are considered when they’re genuinely the better fit.
Do you offer ongoing website maintenance?
Yes. Once your site is live, we can arrange ongoing maintenance and updates on a as-needed or retainer basis. Lula sites are custom-built, so updates are best handled by us rather than through a page builder. It keeps the work clean and consistent with how it was originally designed.
Does the website include SEO?
Every site we build includes on-page SEO fundamentals — proper heading structure, meta titles and descriptions, image alt text, page speed considerations, and sitemap submission. Ongoing SEO content strategy is a separate conversation, but the technical foundation is always there from day one.
